Here's the GFDA Top 10 for the past week, celebrating great things happening to move Great Falls Forward.
1) The Great Falls Planning & Zoning Advisory Board unanimously approved PUD zoning for the Great Falls AgriTech Park.
2) The Planning Board also unanimously approved annexation for the ADF Group project. We worked with ADF's visiting leadership team and held a number of meetings with project partners.
3) Community leaders and state legislators met to discuss funding needs to insure Great Falls College MSU has adequate resources to meet the high wage job training needs of area employers.
4) Huckleberry Healthcare is open in Great Falls! We assisted the entrepreneur with strategy services to identify target markets and develop marketing plans. In the first two weeks of operation, the practice is already on track to meet and surpass projected patient numbers.

6) We began work with a local business to help analyze financial in preparation for an expansion, and assisted a developer with options for environmental assessment and clean-up for a downtown redevelopment project.
7) We hosted over 120 GFDA investors for a celebration of our collective success and to welcome the ADF Group to our community. We recognized everyone who helped with the projects that earned us five awards this year from the International Development Council and two awards from the National Association of Development Organizations. ADF's Chairman and CEO cited Great Falls' location, workforce and team of people that worked with the company as why they are proud to call Great Falls home to their new United States headquarters.
8) Made a presentation to female farmers at a Montana Farmers Union event in Great Falls.
9) Keep looking north for new market opportunities! Alberta's population is expected to grow by 95,000 residents in 2012, according to Premier Alison Redford.
